ValueOptions Webinar for Military OneSource Providers "Military Cultural Competency & Orientation Webinar"

This event provides opportunity for providers to complete both the Military Culture Competence Course and the Orientation via a webinar. Attendance at this one session fulfills your 2012 training requirements for MOS. The Military Culture Competence course presented in this webinar meets the requirements for participation with MOS, however, this webinar will not qualify for any CEU's. In order to receive CEUs for the course, it must be completed through the Essential Learning website by each individual provider so that all tests and surveys required to award the CEUs can be completed.

During the orientation webinar we review key elements of the Military OneSource Program, Authorization processes, Case Activity Form (CAF), Credentialing, Customer Service, Invoicing, Quality Management and Provider Relations processes. Also, learn about technologies and administrative updates.

During the Military Cultural Competency course you will acquire knowledge regarding military culture so that you can understand, communicate, and effectively interact with service members and their families. This course teaches you military rank structure, the branches of service along with their missions and core values, active versus reserve status components, demographic characteristics and general and deployment related terms.

If you have already completed this webinar training through ValueOptions in the Fall of 2011 or completed through Essential Learning, you do not need to attend.
