The evolution of the Kansas substance abuse system is to build greater efficiencies and quality-driven care. In 2007, the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) selected ValueOptions®, a privately-held managed behavioral health care company, to oversee the delivery of substance abuse services to members eligible through Medicaid (T-XIX) and the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant.
As of July 1, 2007, ValueOptions® of Kansas began administering the state’s Substance Abuse Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (SA-PIHP), managing the provider network and working to ensure services are easily accessible, effective and culturally-relevant for individuals and families in need of substance abuse treatment.
For years, our clients have trusted ValueOptions® to provide their beneficiaries with quality, attentive behavioral healthcare and treatment. ValueOptions® shares the state’s vision for a comprehensive substance abuse program that enhances the quality of life for Kansas residents.
