Effective July 1, 2007, ValueOptions^® began managing the Kansas Substance Abuse Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (SA-PIHP), which covers substance abuse treatment services for over 250,000 individuals and families across the state.  Under the direction of the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS), ValueOptions^® administers inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment services for members eligible for Medicaid (T-XIX) and members eligible for Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) AAPS funded substance abuse services.
