John Tadich

As ValueOptions^® Executive Vice President and President of the public sector division, John Tadich has management oversight for 13 state programs that provide behavioral health services for Medicaid and indigent populations.

In his capacity as President, Mr. Tadich oversees the executives heading each state service center and collaborates with them on strategies, program development, budgets and client relations. Mr. Tadich serves as the site executive’s liaison to the rest of ValueOptions’^® senior management and the various operational departments.

Mr. Tadich has more than 30 years experience in managed health care. He has worked in all segments of the market including commercial programs, health plans, Medicare and Medicaid. He has been particularly active in the behavioral health aspects of health care systems for the past 20 years.

Immediately prior to joining ValueOptions^®, Inc., Mr. Tadich was the Executive Director for United Healthcare’s Medicare Operations in northern California. He also served as the President and CEO of United Behavioral Health for seven years. He has experience in HMO operations, underwriting, sales, marketing and product development. He has worked extensively with state and federal government agencies on program development and compliance initiatives.

Mr. Tadich has an undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. He has served on a number of director boards and has previously been licensed as a securities dealer.
