Tom Brown

As Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President, Mr. Brown oversees ValueOptions’^® national operations division, which includes customer service, claims administration, provider services, eligibility, data management and analysis, EAP and clinical operations. He is focused on achieving operational efficiencies and improving the company’s infrastructure to continue providing exceptional service to ValueOptions’^® clients.

Before joining ValueOptions^®, Mr. Brown served as Vice President of Operations Support for The TriZetto Group. There, he oversaw development and implementation of the company’s transaction services strategy as an expert on health care payer software applications, paperless transactions and backroom support.

Previously, for the Novalis Corporation and its subsidiaries, Mr. Brown served in several senior leadership capacities, including CEO of two health plans — QualChoice of Arkansas and Preferred Health Network of Maryland. As Vice President of Novalis, he was responsible for the strategic and medical economic consulting activities. He has also directed operations, customer service and marketing for several Blue Cross plans, including Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Blue Cross of northeastern New York.

Mr. Brown earned an MBA and bachelor’s degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
